Help Desk Confessionals

I'm a systems administrator who provides tech support, data analysis, and report generation for about 300 users. No support staff. No other help. Just me.

I, Hacker

Tuesday, October 05, 2004

So today I called up our software company because this mistake I tried to correct in the system didn't come out quite right. A payment, unbeknownst to me, exists in several places in "history" and we only know of one. My beloved client representative of course would not divulge the other locations for fear that I would wreak havoc all over the system files.

I, apparently, have earned quite a reputation as a hacker.
