New Words

Russell 's fast-growing vocabulary:

• "puppy" - this is for most four-legged animals
• "keys" - actually more like "keysh"
• "shoe"
• "mama" - this actually came later.
• "shit" - wonder where he heard that from?
• "what's that" - he points to everything and says that
• "light" - he is fascinated by lights. In the car. In the house. Everywhere.

That's about it for now.

Russell knows his around the fridge pretty well.

Development

In the last few days, Russell was able to do the following:

• Push our somewhat light coffee table in the living room aside so he can access his favorite area - a brick-layed area to the side of the fireplace.
• Put his water bottle back to where he got it inside the fridge.
• Balance his water bottle on top of a piece of cardboard and walk.
• Turn a step ladder around (as we intentionally positioned it) and climbed onto the top step.
• Stack four 3" high cylindrical candles, one on top of the other.

I don't think I could do most of these things till I was 3.

Russell was running around the house naked just before bath time.
