La Crosse, WI

I passed through La Crosse on my first (solo) cross country road trip. For the short time that I was there, it left me a very favorable impression.

I was trying to make it from Rapid City, SD to Chicago in one day. That was a loooooooong drive. I made it to Chicago at 4 a.m.

One advantage about travelling by yourself is that you can pull off feats like that.
